The substance that makes the red pepper so sharp is capsaicin. This compound is contained in the seed lists. There are different types, flavors and colors of peppers, each with their own sharpness. At MG Fruit we mainly focus on the red and green chilies.
The green pepper is bitter and crispy. This pepper is harvested sooner and is therefore less sweet and less spicy than the red variety. If want sweet and hot, you choose red, if you want bitter and less hot, you choose green.
