Green bell pepper
The pepper is a fruit vegetable, which means that the seeds are protected by a fruit. They are high in fiber and nutrients and low in calories. You have red, yellow, green and orange peppers, each with its own specific taste. The color of a pepper depends on the ripening process. Except for the orange pepper, every pepper is born green. As the pepper ripens, it changes from green to red or from green to yellow.
The green pepper is zestful and spicy. Delicious in stir-fries, pasta sauces and in salads for that extra punch.
